what is chaste? , what unchaste"

chastity is purity, anything less pure, is unchaste

brahman is the ultimate purity, remaining untouched , undeviating,

sole purpose to remain pure , to maintain purity ever

as long as we be no brahman, we are shudra, we are sinners
so we are born twice dvija , by being in association with brahman,

in the upanayana initiation

pathi vratha is chaste
rather to be chaste is pathi vratha 

who is pathi what vratha
pathi is brahman
vratha is to be cultivating to raise to eternal vigilance ,

awareness without a wink of sleep without slipping falling or sinking

pativratha dharma is not meant alone for sthree
it is a goal even for purush 

what is falling from being pathi vratha?

it is getting sullied polluted physically and mentally by that which is not right
that is how  purity is lost
by coming in contact with others mentally or physically

physical contact, shake hand, hug, kiss, brush , press, intercourse with all and sundry cause pollution, infection, dirt, disease, death

mental contacts, --debate discussion argument transaction , are pollution , also thinking on these transactions later , is major pollutions generating anger frustration, jealousy, hatred, sensual desire, fear, anxiety, stress, psycho diseases, abnormality and instability, ending up in mental disorder

the essence is ---spending our attention on anything than ourselves , that is brahman , is promiscuity, is sin, a loss, 

hence be with yourself physically, mentally, being in your own depths, playing with yourself , none other than yourself that is real chastity, real pathi vratha dharma.

more you go to outsiders , the more you are in promiscuity, physically, mentally.

live self sufficient , with own inner resources, they are infinite ,

the purest is brahman
the true source,  course,  recourse and goal all in one

--------1on the way to a hotel , in my first official tour, ----- in my early youth------i was taken by a taxi fellow to thru the streets where prostitutes were out at their doors, windows with their antics of skin exposure and sly smiles.

i saw like gautham [budha] what and how the life is and working

i learnt a lesson, never to look at naked figures, nor yield for distractions however attractive they may be

even to day , i am thankful for the pimp, the taxi driver and to my dear prostituting mothers and sisters for helping me, to go in the right way , quite early in life

now from the corner stepped out a barely clad female, with smiles, body curving, steps dancing to the rhythm of the song, hands making all kinds of twists turns stretches, lifts up down side ward fingers in peculiar posture

She was moving ''gracefully'' to every table and delicately extending welcome to the subtle advances the customers were gesticulating, some trying to touch her, some trying to insert currency notes in her bikini

Every one was enjoying the others “performance'' and eagerly waiting for their turn

it was 10 pm

i was told more show to come with band party readying themselves to come to the floor

but

Gotham in me , made me to get up , i just excused my self to the friends, and silently slowly walked out of the hotel

went home , slept a sound sleep , not worried bit about this great night shows

3 this when in college

the not so crowded que while slowly moving for darshan of great lord venkateshwara in tirupati,

i was pushed from behind by the breasts of a woman / girl, pretending to be getting pushed in the crowd,, there was enough space was there , and shy availed the opportunity to get pressed and may be she was starved for it , she did 2/3 times and with smile, she was looking beautiful, from good family

i tried to move away to keep a respectable gap , but still she was hungry persisting

balaji must have closed his eyes.

but i opened my eyes and quickly finished his holy darshan to avoid unholy sparshan and rushed away without looking back

without looking back still i am rushing away at every such encounters from any great mother /sister all along life, thanking god to helping me

now iam budha from gatham i graduated

all due to my encounters in life quite early in life

1 a spiritual, a mother of two daughters , gave a wild powerful slap, uttered no word, when a guy in bus faulted, she flabbergasted all, 
guy hid his face, slipped out---

2 when a ''gentleman'' sitting behind was reaching the bottoms of a lady, in a bus, '' i said what are you doing'' he said '' sorry , by mistake''

i said '' do not repeat the mistake'' he got up changed his seat----

but how many can one can counter? 
to counter, one has to be upright,

all heavens beauty , apsara, devi devathas
--the beauty of physical shapes and bodies is because of it .

being is never the bare out side

1 "That power comes to him who observes unbroken Brahmacharya for a period of twelve years, with the sole object of realising God I have practiced that kind of Brahmacharya myself, and so a screen has been removed, as it were, from my brain."

2"The chaste brain has tremendous energy and gigantic will power. Without chastity there can be no spiritual strength. Continence gives wonderful control over mankind.The spiritual leaders of men have been very continent and this is what gave them power."

3"Every boy should be trained to practice absolute Brahmacharya and then, and then alone faith and Shraddha will come. Chastity in thought, word and deed always and in all conditions is what is called Brahmacharya. Unchaste imagination is as bad as unchaste action. The Brahmacharin must be pure in thought, word and deed."

4"In order to attain to ideal Brahmacharya one has in the beginning to observe strict rules regarding chastity. For minimum 12 years, one should keep oneself strictly aloof from the least association with the opposite sex as far as possible. When spiritual aspirants are established in the ideal of Sannyasa and brahmacharya, they will be able to mix on an equal footing with worldly men without any harm. But in the beginning 12 years, if they do not keep themselves within the barriers of strict rules, they will all go wrong."

in the present trend of kaliyuga, .....with episodes of gender based crimes, illegal sex affairs, murders, suicides....all for petty sensual pleasures,

sri anjaneyam ,prasannanjaneyam, namasthe .. sadaa brahmachari .namasthe...namasthe..............................................................................................................guru shishya parampara is to pass on the technique of atmanubhuti , easily, instantly ie meditation , .

one becomes rishi

and thru sustained practice this atmanubhuti gets stabilized 24 hours,,,,,

one rises to maharishi, devarishi, brahmarshi, and enjoys a higher life in jeevanmukthi ..............

but but the purity of teaching gets lost in the parampara in course of time , sadhana becomes ineffective, .......

so the new aspirant should explore experience, discover and tread on the right path ....since there are several systems

Brahmacharya is the foundation for a meaningful life, for joys much more than the sensuous.

if the foundation is weak the building of life is bound to collapse, sooner than later 
causing the inevitable ruin to self and society 

it's the best insulating shield against all the dangerous inputs / encounters 
any other solution, soft or harsh, including the punishment, death etc is not going to help 

history is repeating, will repeat with vengeance, until the human rediscovers this only, only, effective solution, brahmacharya, 
and starts implementing in the current times 
for disciplining this eternal, natural, procreative instinct , designed for perpetuation of human race for both genders, 

this automatically stops the commercial exploitation of sacred female physiology in every movie and every advertisement 

and takes the race to the yatha poorve level 
where woman will be worshiped as god
as One of the verses from Manu Smriti says, 
Yatra Nari Astu Pujyante, Ramante Tatra Devataa
– meaning Gods reside in places where a woman is worshiped

    brahmacharya

this aspect distinguishes human from animal , Senses turning inwards, instincts of survivals getting regulated for higher purpose in life , eventually overcoming the limitations of 4 , aahaar nidra bhaya maithuna------is the full perspective of the word celibacy, and is the result of one living in brahman consciousness, ie brahma charya 

without realizing and living brahman consciousness , brahmacharya, one cannot be a true celibate, 

without brahman consciousness , celibacy is most difficult path of mind/sense control , it is the way of ignorant

in brahman consciousness, living becomes most natural, as senses having tasted the joys of brahmanand, naturally become averse to anything less than it , are naturally are tuned to it, are naturally turned inwards towards it 

"I can understand from my own experience, brahmacharya is really a shield protecting me from any distracting inputs, all the nudity, vulgarity in the media , movies and visuals has no effect , without any of my struggle ."

they are transformed it into their profession and they only can be called masterminded in one field ...for example if somebody is painter even painting for nude cannot make them to feel in chaste thought they just dive deep in that

thus such individuals increasing in society will bring in the total transformation and crimes will reduce/ vanish it is imperative that everyone has to strive to reach this goal for individual/ social/ universal good 

"Self-realization is

1 first to get a glimpse of the self , by any means , by any help

2 then sustain the practice, that momentary glimpse becomes stable 24 hours , in the mature level, in this one overcomes the body consciousness, though living in the body complex of thoughts, speech and actions. and always experiencing his real transcendental unmanifest existence the transformation from stage 1 to 2 may happen rapidly or slowly on the intensity of sadhana"

it is just a little diversion, mind is given the experience of brahman consciousness , mind finds that this experience is more charming than all the worldly pursuits . and thru regular contact with it , the mind is in sathsang with the brahman consciousness and gradually acquires the qualities of that consciousness, which are very pleasing to the mind , and takes a natural direction to function as per the natural law 

this brahman consciousness, the core of individual, i, aham , ie individual takes over the control on the mind and will be able to experience and enjoy life more glorious than that obtainable by money./ sense gratification

his desires rise to higher pedestal , ie his desires become refined, and easy to accomplish as well

such a person sees things in grand perspective , will not fall for petty attractions" 

lost time is lost forever but the present moment has infinite possibilities one can start with learning meditation in as is where is level irrespective of age etc , a student/ a professional/ or businessman/ whatever it is just sparing a few minutes morning and evening .as the practice continues , results unfold"
